Type of a scam Online Purchase
i did a google search for Converse x John Varvatos and found this website http://www.rwdavenportblog.co.uk/.
The website appears to be based out of the UK. I went on scamadviser.com and the result came back as a trustworthy site. The prices are slightly lower than avg for the item i purchased, but not significantly based on John Varvatos online store sale item price. I entered my visa # and purchased the shoes.
After 2 days i had not yet received the tracking number so i emailed the contact email from the website. I received a response with my tracking # within 24 hours and was told that my item had been shipped a few days earlier. Based on the language in the email i received, i noticed that the english was in the format of a translation website vs. spoken english. The tracking number was with China post. This is when i became skeptical about the product. There was no indication on the site that these were not authentic converse items, so i emailed the contact email again and asked if these were "replica" shoes, i did not receive a response this time.
Last Wednesday (Dec 14/16) i rec’d the package from China. They have sent me a wrong product, in the wrong size, and the wrong product appears to be counterfeit. I emailed the contact address again to let them know that i had received the wrong product, but have not received a response in a week.

this is definitely a scam website, both with regards to their physical location as well as the products that they are selling as "real" or "original".
