A fellow named Shamus rang my doorbell and said that he was with a roofing and chimney company and wanted to let me know of some issues. I mentioned that I knew that there was a small piece of mortar that needed pointing, which he acknowledge then send that there was a shingle missing and he could see the wood. He asked if I wanted a quote 3 times and asked how old the roof was – which was about 6 yrs. or so.
I said that I wanted to check it out first and when I went up on the roof and inspected the entire deck, there was not a single shingle that was out of place and no wood was showing.
