I want to report a scam using this email address [email protected] with this website https://royalgermanshepherdhome.com. ; They are requesting gift cards or Zelle to pay for a dog, no credit or debit card, money order, check or cash. I am 3 hours from Zionville, NC and I told them I could pick up the puppy. They said due to Covid virus they couldn’t allow this. No name or actual address was ever given.
They stated no one is allowed to pick up dog but it will be shipped to you free. You can have the dog sent to your home for an extra $50. One of their staff accompanies the dog during the flight. You cannot see the actual dog except a photo of a dog. They ask for 740 USD not $740. They said they have their procedure; it must be followed. People are being ripped off. This bears watching and shutting this operation down. Sorry, unable to attach photos. I can send via email.

We fell in love with the photo and tried to buy a puppy as advertised on the website. After the initial email and our phone call where we left a message, everything was from then on communicated via text. We were willing to drive to NC (6hrs) but they said because of the COVID they could only ship him. Money was sent via Zelle $790.00 and they were to advise flight information and when the care taker would arrive with our pup. The next text message told us we had to but a $1,500.00 container for the dog to be shipped in. Needless to say, this is when we realized that we really screwed up and had just been scammed. We honestly know better but were swept up by wanting the pup so badly. A very expensive lesson learned and no puppy 🙁
