Type of a scam Debt Collections
I owe money to a company called CASHNET. Somehow this scam company got ahold of their records and knows that i owe them money. They called me and had me speak to an attorney that told me that if i do not pay them then they will come arrest me and have me go in-fount of the judge. I fell for it an gave them all of my info but a family member told me that it was stupid to do that and that i needed to call CASHNET. I called CASHNET and they said that the sold the account to a Debt collector company called World wide and they gave us their number. We called them and they said that they have no Idea who Rossi Hackerman & associates are and that they are scamming us. They said that we were the 4th phone call this week calling about the same thing.
