Type of a scam Employment
I had recieved an email about new openings for mystery shoppers job. They said to send my information to be able to get the instructions for the assignment. I did sent it and recieved the package in about two days after. In the package was the list of the procedures for the assignment and one cashier check. It said that I have to cash out the check and then deduct the amount of $350 for my salary. I deposit the check since my bank didn’t clear it out till the next day. Once the check was available, I withdrawal the money and proceed with the rest of the assignment they wanted me to buy gift cards of $400 each. I didn’t pay anything out of my pocket. Everything was paid from this check I received. That’s way it was nice and a great job offer. Getting paid to shop and to evaluate. Once I got the gift cards. I send the pictures. I was on the last store when something clicked on my head, " are you sure this is not a Scam?" So, I did my research and found that they are a SCAM. I call my bank to make sure no one get into my account. I took a screen shot of the scam information and send it to the guy who was texting me for the gift cards. Till now he hasn’t contacted me. I dont know what should I do Next.
