Type of a scam Employment
I received an email from an individual named Phillip Fordson saying he had found my resume off of indeed and that he was wanting to hire me. My resume has my name, my address, and my phone number. He started texting me but I never agreed to work for him and we never discussed me working for him. I started getting a weird feeling so I stopped contacting him and then I received an email saying he has sent me a paycheck but again I never agreed to work for him not have I done any work. I then contacted him telling him to no longer contact me. He started getting made and telling me I needed to pay him back for the postal fee but I never agreed to pay him back. He began getting hostile and a little threatening. I contacted the police about him because I was getting scared for my safety.
