Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
“Richard” told me his wife loved my item posted on Let Go a resale app. He asked to speak through text instead of the app, where he asked me lots of questions about the item and even seemed to negotiate price. Smarter than most scams.
But when he asked me to deposit a check for 1500 and take my 200, give the remaining to his movers something didn’t feel right. I looked it up and this kind of scam is all over the internet! Thankyou everyone for sharing!
