Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I am selling an antique bedroom set on OfferUp an online buying/selling app. One person, Laura, asked me to send pictures of the bedroom set to the above email address. I did and Richard responded that he will send a check by mail and after it clears he will send movers to pick up the furniture. He asked for my address, phone number, name, etc… Also, Laura’s OfferUp account was deactivated as soon as I emailed the pictures.
