Type of a scam Nigerian/Foreign Money Exchange
Very poorly written email trying to sound official by using government job titles. Also, the sender used the title "Reverend", as to who it was from, to invoke a sense of trust in the recipient of the email. The "Reverend" asked in the email for me to send personal info such as full name, phone number, address, etc., and to meet someone (whom the writer of the phoney email described as "not an American") at JFK airport. I was to meet this person to claim a "package consignment box" worth "7.2 million dollars". The email was, in fact, so poorly written in broken English, that it was hard to decipher any further details.
