I recently had a less than favorable experience with a company that goes by the name of RETS Pro. RETS Pro makes a wordpress real estate plugin. The owners of RETS Pro claim that their plugin works with every MLS IDX RETS system. As a real estate agent I was attracted to the features they claim to have. It almost sounded too good to be true. I gave them a call, asked them some detailed questions. They answered them to my satisfaction so I decided to make the purchase.
That’s when the trouble began. Once they had my money they switched from being nice and responsive to slow and unresponsive. This was alarming to say the least. I started to think I was being scammed. Not wanting to panic over nothing, I performed some google searches to see if others had problems with this RETS Pro. That’s when I realized that I had been scammed. I found a long list of unhappy customers. I also found a long list of what appears to be fake reviews.
It’s been almost 6 months and they still haven’t delivered a finished product and are not responsive to my inquiries or requests. Stay far far away.
