Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
The email came from Joseph Gerber, Human Resource Manager. He sent me a cashiers check $2,885.00) with a letter. The letter said to deposit it into my checking account and go to the Apple store and buy two gift certificates in the amount of $1250 each. I would then have to fill out a survey sheet rating the store. I could keep the remaining $300.00 plus a $50 bonus if i did the survey within 2 days.
