SCARE-WARE Scam
This is a well known Tech Support Scam that preys on older people with limited tech skills. Reimage convinced customers to call with through a fraudulent SCARE-WARE pop-up ad. When they called Reimage, they will remotely connect into their computer then pretend to do tech support. They claim that harmless items are evidence of viruses. They will always say that to their customers. They claim that they can clear everything up. They do NOT provide fee structures up front. After scaring the customer they will force customer to pay rate up to 700 dollars. I have already filed reports with the FTC and BBB. They hide their shady business through reputable payment sites like safecharge and gate2shop and safecharge.
