The scammer contacted me on Roomster offering me a studio for 700$ a month in Santa Monica, Ca.
He claimed his name was Troy and we messaged through whatsapp. He wanted me to send him 70$ through cashapp inorder for me to be able to see the place and "make approval" as his put it because I believe he didn’t speak good English. I tried calling the number several times, no answer. He kept pestering me to send the money on cashapp and to send him screen shots of the transaction for his "records".
