Type of a scam Employment
We have received multiple emails from different addresses with zip files attached and a message that an ACH transaction has been denied. This is the body of the email:
"The ACH transaction that you just sent was cancelled by the bank.
Please check the word document enclosed here to get more information about this issue. "
The zip file attached references a specific transaction number, and it is different for each email we’ve received. We did not open the files, so nothing has happened to us. One of the other email addresses used was [email protected] We just wanted to report the issue in case others may be affected.
