Type of a scam Investment
Three years ago I made a $500 investment in an online company named "99 binary options". The website closed and I lost my money. Last week a Bill McCarty called me and said he was with "Recovery Services" and could return my money plus $5,000 that continued to grow. However, he asked me to send him $320.99 to verify my account. I sent it to him like a fool only because he said he would send me all of his information and the transfer was to the same bank I use, B of A. I felt B of A would protect me if anything went wrong. I didn’t receive the money and he called me back and said he needed another $500 and then another $200 for a total of $1,020.99. I never received any money and he called me and said he needs my bank ID and password. I finally woke up to realize I was being scammed. He still answers his phone which I called today and he still says the money is there for me if I send my bank ID and password.
