Type of a scam Online Purchase
My wife and I bought a time share while on vacation in Hawaii 4 years age. Due to our failing health we have reached out to sell this time share as we can not afford it. My wife went on line and we received a phone call from Real Deal Destinations and Vacations. We were told that they had a buyer for our time share and that they would send us an Offer Acceptance Agreement and all we had to do is sign it and send it back. They asked for $1,850.00 and to get a bank or cashiers check for the amount and call them back and they would send FedEx out to pick it up. I started thinking that this too easy to be true and why would they send a FedEx truck to pick up the check. I have not paid anything yet and don’t plan on it unless I can get a confirmation that this business is not a SCAM. My instructions for the check was to make it out to RDV GROUP and put in the remarks that it was for DEPOSIT only.
