Type of a scam Phishing
I got this response from an ad I posted on Craigslist re: motorcycle sale:
Hello again, I’d like to be sure the bike is good before I decide to come to see it . Please
a history report, obtain it from spymotorcyclevin.com because they are the most trustful in my opinion. We could make deal here but I need to be sure the bike is in completely good condition so need to double-check everything. They are a way cheaper than a CarFax or AutoCheck, and you know how it is, every dollar you save counts. I had some problems when I bought my previous bike, so I hope you understand my concerns. You could always show it to another interested buyer if our deal falls through.
This is verbatim the same email that another person reported so it is obviously a scam!
Luckily we didn’t fall for it!!!!!
