This scammer impersonated me on an online dating website called Shaadi.com and put up a website called RaviWoodFurniture.com that lists my home address as the headquarters. However, he used another man’s pictures to represent himself.
He convinced a woman to pay him $8000 after they had been chatting for several weeks on Shaadi.com. Her daughter contacted me after finding my real info online and I did a reverse lookup on his website to get his contact information. I called him both at the number and email listed on his website as well as the number email registered with whois.iCann.org, the internet domain registry.
While he did answer my call, he was surprised to hear from me and hung up. Did not reply to further calls or emails and the website is still up but he removed his info from the internet registry.
