This is a home improvement scam run by a Michael Cortez out of Cedar Rapids, IA. He advertises on Craigslist and Facebook. He operates under a number of ficticious company names including Rapid Restorations, All Day Roofing, Sky Edge Roofing, etc. He often claims to have over 20 years of experience, but doesn’t mention that about 5 of those years were spent behind bars in FEDERAL PRISON for defrauding the government over 1/4 million dollars. If you google his name and Cedar Rapids, or any of his fake companies, you can read about his time in prison along with the tens of thousands of dollars he has ripped people off in Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Des Moines.
