Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

I searched online for a payday loan or personal loan and came across Rapid Loans Pro. There is no contact number so I put in a request to know more information on the contact us tab. Someone called me from a CA number and explain to me we were on a recorded line and any information would be used for that purpose. So I asked if they give personal or pay day loans. The caller was an Indian guy and said Yes personal loans. He asked how much am I looking to borrow. I told him $5000. They asked for my income, date of birth, Driver License #, and company I work for. They then called me back to approve the loan. Told me I had to purchase a $200 gift card from Steam (A gaming gift card) “their partners” and they will send me the $5000 via western union, bank transfer, or money gram once I send them a picture of the cards purchase, my receipt, & Photo ID. I went out to Game Stop to purchase 4 Steam gift cards of $50. I sent them the info needed and they told me someone was heading to Money gram now to send me the money. Then I received a text saying: This is to inform you that in you area money gram has been closed so they are not accepting the payments. So we’ll do the transaction tomorrow ok. Good night! I then went online to Steam and checked the gift cards. They have already redeemed my gift cards and sent me no money. I feel so stupid to get caught in this scam. I need help warning others not to fall for this mess! I have uploaded all proof of this transaction. The called the $200 gift cards insurance in case I fall behind in my payments then I can send the gift cards as a payment instead. What a scam!!! Please help!

Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

They offer loans but require most of the loan paid in advance in untraceable Steam gift cards. The process was interrupted by the victim after making an online payment and then after transferring $600 in STeam Gift cards to the "loan agency", he has not received any refund at all.
