Type of a scam Online Purchase
I believe I have been a victim of a scam. I saw on Facebook an advertisement for a free sample of CDB Oil just pay shipping of $5.99. I purchased it online for a friend who has severe back pain. Once I received it, I gave it to them and they opened it. The said it smelt like paint thinner and just didn’t feel right about taking it. Several days later I received an email saying my order was on its way and my credit card had been billed $79.99. I phoned the company and they said it was a 14 day trial offer and if I didn’t call and cancel within that time, they would keep sending me the product and billing my credit card. I told them I saw nothing to that affect on the advertisement and I did not want it, I didn’t order it. They said all they could do is refund 30% of the $79.99 and cancel the order. I told them I wanted a full refund or I would be contacting the BBB. They then told me they could refund half. I told them full amount or I would be contacting you. That’s where I am now. I do believe I was a victim of a scam. Please help me receive my full refund.
