I got a pop up on another website while looking at another for a English Bulldog. Once we looked at them your emotions take over and we contacted them to purchase. Was told they could take a payment via Zelle so we did that for initial deposit of 500.00. On 12-13 we sent out the 500.00 to [email protected] Then received a call from breeder on 12-14-19 that the dog will ship out on Sunday 12-15-19. On 12-16-19, received a text that the dog was at the shipper at the Austin Airport. Then the shipper Rayon Shipping, emails us stating the dog needed a sedation shot and also the crate was not the correct type so we needed to pay another 810.00 for crate rental and shot. After going back and forth with the breeder, we agreed to pay the rental as it was already 11:30am EST and 610.00 is fully refundable for crate rental at the time of delivery from the shipper.
At 5pm we find that the dog has not shipped out and would go out the next morning. We spoke to the breeder and shipper making sure the dog would be cared for at the shipping location which we were assured he would be. On 12-16 at 9:30am, we are informed that we need to pay the shipper for overnight care which we objected to. They said it would be refunded at time of delivery which we felt (then why charge us). Called the breeder which he did not return a call, spoke to shipper many times and we refused to pay the costs. It is at this time we did a more thorough search on the shipper and found it to be a huge scam along with the PuppiesChoose website as well.
