Type of a scam Identity Theft
Called me stating I had won $5,000 because we pay our credit card on time. Asked me what my address was and what year I was born so they could mail the prize to me (I unfortunately gave it). They then said that the publishers felt strongly that I would win some grand prize and, because of that, asked if I would help them out by purchasing some "favorite" magazine for the low price of $2.99. When I said I did not want the magazine, I heard "Okay -click" and they were gone.
