I received an assignment to become a Mystery Shopper to survey APPLE STORE. I received a check for $2982.00 to purchase the product plus compensation. The checks were stolen, real checks, real bank, real company. I reported the scam to the issuer of the check.

Very simple story. I was looking to earn some extra cash fro the holiday season. A coworker of mine was contacted via LinkedIn with this secretly shopper opportunity, which he then forwarded to me. I reached out to P&S and after on e email instantly knew if was a scam. I played along trying to get as much information as possible to pass along to the BBB. Within a few weeks I reviewed my first ‘secret shopper task’ from P&S. It asked me to cash the check and then purchase of bunch of money orders from my local post office.
