On 5-31-16 around noon, I went to get on my computer and a warning came up asking me to contact the 800 number because my computer was in jeopardy. I ended up giving them my credit card information and allowed them to start fixing my computer remotely. They charged me $399.00 for their Premium Family Support Plan. Started getting suspicious when it was taking so long. So I unplugged my computer and wi-fi. We immediately cancelled out credit cards and called our bank and put our accounts on hold. We told our credit card company that we wanted to dispute the charge. I keep getting phone calls from these people saying that they need to complete the security process. However, I am not answering the phone calls. My neighbor is an IT guy and he came over to clean our computer for us. When I read about the Microsoft Scam on your website, it is exactly what happened to me, which is why I am reporting this. I will also contact the Federal Trade Commission and FBI as you reference to do.
