Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I was looking for an at home job on indeed career website, and sent in my resume. I then got an email response from Robbiccaa Williams, stating that I have been offered the job with their company called ProRehab. Robbiccaa stated that he/she was the primary donor and point of contact for donations to charitable organizations. He/she then stated they would send money via USPS. Once received I was told to cash the check for $6700.50 from Loan Star National Bank immediately and then take $600 dollars of the money out and then send the rest back so he/she could give food, funds, etc to these supposed charities. This was very suspect to me so I looked up the company ProRehab and found out that the real company provides ProRehab, provides physical therapy to people with musculoskeletal. The therapists have a wealth of knowledge in a wide range of specialties and are committed to addressing your specific needs. I then looked up the bank Loan Star to discover that Lone Star National Bank is a community bank with 33 locations in South Texas, United States, including the Rio Grande Valley and San Antonio, Texas. Then I got a text message from a New York Number and the check sent USPS was sent from Ottawa, MI. I knew I had to report this person right away.
