Type of a scam Employment
I replied to a job posting in the local craigslist. The first email I received was sent by a Theresa Lane using the email address [email protected] The company name is supposedly Prompt Datas. The next email came from Kenneth Lehman using [email protected] as the email address. a I was informed the job would pay $17/hour. I was then asked to use Google Chat to do an online interview and also for communications for online training(which pays $12/hour). Of course this training would only be followed by pre-training(unpaid). While the interview went well, the grammar was atrocious and made me question whether it was real or not. I went ahead with the pretraining at first, but while I was doing it just got the feeling I should look into this company. I found no website, no mention of it anywhere. They said it was because the site was attacked recently and was down for security. They would not give me a physical address. The phone number used to text this person is 1-410-424-6097. As soon as I mentioned that I would be reporting this the the proper authorities all communication stopped.
