I do not recall requesting this service, whatever it is, and a fee of $166.31 seems excessive for registering a SmartTV. I want a refund and an explanation of what happened.
I want my money refunded, ($92.55) we did not want this service, ( ordered January 19th. 2020) it is a scam, making people believe they are getting something from your company when all we did was make an inquiry, while setting up out Smart TV.

I recently purchsed a Roku TV. When I was setting it up a phone number came up on the screen with an activation code requesting I call to complete the set up. Once I called I was asked to pay a “livetime” service fee of $169.99, which I stupidly paid. Afterward I got wise and tried to call the 1-800 number on the documents I was sent when I signed up with “Proginee”. The number led to a series of dead end voice messages. I hope there is some way to see the funds retutned.
I bought a new Roku. While setting up, a pop up window came up asking me to call an 888 number to pay for activation. This fake company “Proginee Solutions Limited” stated it would be $69.99 to activate the Roku due to software changes they charge now. SCAM! They took my money. Being new to Roku, I did not know ROKU IS FREE! This company is a scam. Trying to reach them now and the number rings once the goes to dead air. Called the number on my “receipt” from them and get a “leave a message” recording. Left a message that they will probably never listen to.
DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!
Bought a roku soundbar and a number popped up to call and activate.the screen said it was free but the man on the phone said I had to pay $89.99 or else it would not activate. Found out the next day that it is free and I was scammed.

Bought a roku soundbar and an 800 number popped up to call. I called it and was charged 154.99 for activation. I now know this is a scam. Do not fall for this like I did. I now had to cancel my card and file a dispute.
