Evidently this is a paid survey scam. Easy to fool anyone with a pretty valid looking cashier’s check.
5/7/19, I received a letter and cashier’s check via priority mail for $2930.00 signed by ‘Patrick Pescitelli’. Credit union name on issuer is Empower, 1 Member Way, Syracuse, NY 13212
