Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes
Called to announce I had won a sweepstakes prize drawing. Claimed to be calling from Publishers Clearing House. They also called one time and claimed to be affiliated with Proctor & Gamble. All I had to do was send in $3,000 dollars to collect my earnings. When I stated that I didn’t have that kind of money, they promptly hung up on me. Thankfully I knew if it really was legitimate I would receive the news via certified mail. Beware of these scam artists!
