Type of a scam Online Purchase

Upon viewing a recipe website, as you scroll below, there was a story about CBC Broadcaster Wendy Mesli leaving the corporation to pay full attention to her business of skin and eye vitalizer products. The promo at the end of the well fabricated story offered a free sample of this product. The only hitch was to pay the shipping charges of $3.95 and $4.95. They asked for payment on a securely "identified" site by Credit Card. The charges for shipping were posted on 24/11/2018. They were credited to: vtlmuscle.com 8552175668 GBR for 119.95 on 08/12/2018 and to vtlserum.com 8552176544 GBR for $115.95 on 09/12/2018, The numbers corresponded with the FREE sample debit shipping amounts.

From my understanding this is a common SCAM of using celebrity names to make one feel comfortable when either sampling or ordering this product. What they don’t indicate is that you will be charged a full price for product a short time later. This, from my understanding, then becomes a continuous order/debit to your Credit Card unless you can stop it. The Credit Card was deactivated immediately with a requirement of contacting the Credit Card company to challenge the charge. Reports were sent to the RCMP Antifraud Center, Regina Police Service and now the BBB.
