Type of a scam Employment
I was offered a work from home position. I was contacted by email. Placed my resume on some job employment sites. I was never contacted personally. I was told a computer, printer, and stationary would be provided by the company. They asked me to verify my name, address and phone number. Told me text a tax ID number assigned to me by them to (859) 295-2691 and an HR person would contact me. The final thing to let me know this was a scam, is that I did not receive a response from the text and they sent me an W-I9 form to complete. This would have given them access to my DOB and SSN. I did not complete or return the form. I was also never able to contact this person by phone.
