I got this email from “Premium Support LLC”, stating that I was “successfully charged 499.00 for renewal” . Of course they gave a 1-801 number to call for immediate refund. I’m so glad that I found your site so know for sure that this is indeed a scam.
I’m saving the email in case my bank is charged, but I can’t see how that is possible since I’ve never heard of this company before and they wouldn’t have my information.
I had the same experience with the person above. They tried to control my pc when I asked for information – I hung up before they could control my pc
I copied the email they sent. I’ve reported them to the federal trade commission. The number just rings and eventually goes to voicemail. I never signed up for this service and there is no evidence it is a real tech service provider. Email was sent from Premium Sp via sendinblue.com

Type of a scam Tech Support
This scam started in 2019 and has continued to the point we have purchased new phones at home that have a "call block" button. We do not answer the phone any more. We let it go to voice mail. They have gotten our cell phone numbers and call them also. The numbers change they call from the company name is Premium Techie Support. I have cancelled my credit cards and they are trying to charge my accounts for an annual fee of $399.99 for which I have cancelled over a year ago. I do not use their services and tell everyone how bad they are tricking me into a scare scam with threats. The bank refunded the first amount they charged my credit card for. After that they had me purchase gift cards for $299 and $299 for $699.00. This money I have lost to them. They speak with an India accent, I asked if they were in the USA they said California but use India for support.

Type of a scam Online Purchase
I purchased their service April 2, 2018 for $400.00 -FS *PTSupport 877-3278914 CA for a life-time protection. All of my passwords were locked and they fixed my computer. They would incur other charges so I discontinued using them. They would call often to tell me that they would make a charge on my bank account. recently they left an email saying that I owed $299.99. I called Premium Support to tell them that I want my account closed. Peter William from SLC 801-462-0405 turned it over to the Senior Manager Kevin Parker-Sanford, Florida 321-4205323. He told me that he would like to give back my $400. through an online bank transaction. I said that I don’t bank online. He said he was trying to help and then locked my computer screen and said he would not free it up until I opened an online account. I called a bank on my cell phone and they said it was a scam ( which I already expressed to this person) and call the police. I then started calling the police when he asked, "What are you doing?" I told him that I was calling the police. He hung up and left me with a locked computer. He told me that I would loose the computer and "come what may." Microsoft was able to create a new account. When I went back to check my email….all of my files on personal expenses were removed…including Premium Support, personal pictures and my customers.
