Premier Student Loan Center Imposter

Victim Location 66521

Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief

I have been getting a lot of phone calls lately from random numbers with the same area code as I have, but locations showing up that I know are not within that area code. I’ve started getting these calls almost daily even when I’ve tried to state that I do not want to receive calls. It is always an automated recording that comes on when I pick up about this being my last chance to consolidate my Federal Student Loans. They asked me to verify my name, phone number, and email address and refused to tell me any of the information that they supposedly already had. They state directly to me, when specifically asked, that they are working with the US Department of Education. I refused to let them reset the password to my Federal Loan information online. I finally was able to get the guy to tell me what company it was he was working with and he even said I could look them up on the BBB. When I tried to respond to this that I would look them up before I gave any information, I was hung up on. Less than 10 minutes later I received another phone call with the same message and when I tried to speak to a person I was hung up on.
