Type of a scam Travel/Vacations

In 2012 I was contacted by Cheap Trips for a 1x lifetime membership fee for discounted travel, I believe the cost was $500. It was not usable because of false offerings. Apparently this org was sold to My Dream Vacations and they kept contacting me telling me I had not used their valuable offerings. My Dream Vacations was sold to My Travel Vacation Passport which also kept calling me to use my valuable membership. I refused all offerings and asked they stop calling. Then on March I was contacted by Premier American Advertising and Marketing posing as a mediator for the Travel Industry saying that I needed to pay a one time $499 transfer fee to them and they would release me from the pending law suit from MTVP (because I was refusing to pay my recurring fees). They also would acquire my my "valuable" membership, sell it and pay me up to $8000 in the next 18-24 months. But I had to make a decision at that moment with no written contractual language to review or I would be sued. I asked them to send me the email summary so I could read it and this implied that I agreed to their contract to buy. I was then contact by MTVP threatening me with proceedings since I did not reply by COB the day before. I suspected a scam, but did not have time to do the research and I paid the $499 by Pay Pal. By the way all this happened when I was on a trip and not close to my computer or records so I could research my hunches. I got home and did research and verified my concerns. I called my bank and they recommended that as soon as the Pay Pal was paid that I contest the transaction.
