I have been getting calls from Portfolio Recovery claiming that they are calling about an outstanding debt for Sams Club. I have called Sams Club twice and they have said that there are no outstanding debts, I owe nothing to them, and they have not sent any debts to collection agencies. I would like to know what to do if they keep calling. It is intimidating having someone call saying they’re calling from a collection agency, when the company they’re claiming to call for says I owe nothing. I don’t know if they’re going to try to hurt my credit but I would like to keep myself protected. My latest call from them was on 3/13/2016. The number they called from was 1-859-795-3413. Please let me know what I need to do.
