Type of a scam Charity
The person called referencing himself as a member of the police department soliciting donations to help the program. He told about the different levels of contribution such as gold at $100, silver at $50, and bronze at $25. Then asked which level I was willing to donate. I said bronze and he said "So you are comfortable donating at the bronze level?’ To which I said "Yes". He directed the call to another person who asked the same question. Then asked for credit card info. I did not give the information for my credit card. Then hung up.
