Male voice, no name given, phone call from # in Monticello IL asking for contribution for Police Dept to help families of officers who have died in line of duty.
Q: $25, $35 or more is a comfortable amount for you? Once you state the amount he asked again till a “yes” response is obtained then he hung up! Against my better judgement I know I was scammed!!
