My husband and I were searching for a French Bulldog and came across Pioneer Bulldog website. We saw a puppy they were advertising for sale $750 so we sent a response to express our interest in the puppy and got a response back via txt and email the next day from Johnson stating the puppy was available. He then asked that I give him a little more information about our family as the website stated that they have to ensure that the puppy would be cared for and not left at home alone for long periods of time. I responded with letting him know that I work from home so puppy would always have someone at home. He asked that we make the payment through Zelle and asked if we could send the confirmation numbers once payment had been made. He confirmed the shipping information as we opted to have puppy shipped via airline & paid the additional $250 for shipping cost just as website had stated. After 24hrs of sale I sent txt asking about the shipping information and was told that shipping confirmation would come directly to my email from airline. I received what appeared to be a confirmation from Uline stating that puppy had arrived and would be shipped on 7/[email protected] 12:22 pm and received at our door on 7/20 by 8:00 pm. The confirmation appeared to be a scam and had me very suspicious of transaction. Before we finalized purchased we researched as much as we could about this company and came up with no complaints or horrible reviews. Then we received another email from Uline stating that puppy was not received in proper crate and that they would need a deposit of $1000 that was 100 percent refundable to ship him in proper temperature crate. This was definitely a red flag and I did not comply with request. Why would you ask for $1000 and then give back to me once puppy was delivered to our door in cash? There was never anything stated about a special crate nor any additional cost outside the $1000. I waited until 8:30 to see if puppy would be received and of course it was not…then I sent a txt to seller and was told that puppy was not shipped because we didn’t pay for the temperature crate. I asked why that was never mentioned in previous text or before sale and was never given an answer. I stated that I wanted money back and did not feel like the crate was our responsibility. I have not received a response. My txt was not be answered so I called from another phone to try to get a response but still no response. We are absolutely furious about this scam. I want everyone to see my review before they deal with these scammers! We are hardworking ppl that did not deserve to have this happen to them.
