Type of a scam Counterfeit Product

This product looks like its working initially but its really gathering all kinds of documents (beyond photos). It then conveniently stops working. It tells the user "there is a problem with the drive". The user then returns the product (containing personal information) and is then told there was nothing wrong with the photostick. No replacement or refund is offered. Its a sinister scam to get customers data. Please don’t buy this product

1) Purchased a "128 MB" device. 2) Plugged it in and had it scan the computer for JPEG files. 3) Copied less than a third. 4) Day later plugged in to scan more. 5) Stick was DEAD!!! 5) Computer would NOT allow use of Stick, but showed stick was NOT 128 MB but only 128 KB. 6) Tried to reformat stick to remove all copied files before sending back for refund. 7) Stick did NOT allow reformatting. 8 )Contacted Amazon. They contacted Prairie IT and told me I would be contacted within two days. Was not. 9) I contacted Prairie IT via email, they were supposed to respond, but didn’t. 10) Contacted my Chase Prime Credit Card. After talking with half a dozen people and an hour or so, finally got full credit, but it was a difficult sell, since their policy requires returning the device to the merchant, which I REFUSED to do!

This is obviously an Identity Theft Device. You have it scan your computer. Two days later you cannot see what is on your stick. WORST of all, they want you to return the device..as is… for a refund, but you cannot review the files or reformat to protect against ID Theft. What a great way to engage in Identity Theft!!!
