On 02/19/19 around 1:00pm Mr. *** received a call from a person with a heavy accent identifying themselves as Peter Robinson. The caller provided a badge number of #1945PCH, a call back number of 8506664170, and confirmation #00027553800US. The call came in from caller ID as 8768748639. The recipient attempted to call the number again and was directed to a recording stating it is a non-working number.
The caller stated Mr. *** was the winner of 750,000.00 with additional 5,000.00 weekly and a new Mercedes. Further stating, the prize patrol would deliver his winnings after he goes to Walmart and sends them 530.00 then provides a receipt of which the funds would be refunded later. The caller then asked "Do you believe what I’ve told you?" Mr. *** replied "no, you can scam someone else." The caller then hung up.
