Type of a scam Online Purchase
My sister in law found a Pug puppy on line and I agreed to purchase it for her. The seller wanted more money than we were able to pay but came down to $260 which was $130 for the dog and $130 dollars for shipping. He requested we send the money to Pet Express Transportation Services and they would give him his $130. The money was sent by moneygram and the seller Adam called and stated she would fly out the next morning. Received a call the next morning stating Spice would not be on the flight because the crate was not acceptable and it would cost an additional $190 for a crate which was refundable when she reached her destination. The seller stated he did not have the money so I paid the $190 since it was to be refunded and again we sent it by moneygram and was given the crate # and told she would be on the plane the next day. The next morning received a call say they had given her a shot before boarding and the airline would not let her fly without insurance which was $310 but was also fully refundable. At this point I said no I could not put out any more money. Adam assured my sister in law it may tak a little while but she would receive the$130 back and Pet Express said their Policy was 3 weeks for refunds. My sister in law reached out to both of them a couple more times and was told yes there would be a refund then finally no answer. I called Adam on 10/10/17 and left a message explaining who I was he returned my call but I think he was confused about who I was because after a few minutes he told me he had to much money in Spice, I wasn’t getting my mone back and hung up. I also called the numberI had for Pet Express Transportation Services and left a message. They have never returnedmy call.
