My husband was working with a “Microsoft” company that claimed to protect our computer from hackers with one payment for the rest of our lives. I received a call from our credit company asking if I had made the purchase. I questioned my 75 year old husband ( who has recently suffered a stroke, as well as having mild cognitive impairment) who shared he had purchased it the night before. When I questioned my son, he said it was a scam and I needed to get ahold of my bank immediately and put in a fraudulent claim.
