Type of a scam Employment
I received a message from a friend on linkedin requesting that I be a part of a retail surveying group. I completed the application as she is in the business of retailer merchandising. I was contacted through text and email regarding my application. I just stated I would be interested in learning more. Today I received a check for 2360.30. Since I had never talked to anyone I found that to be odd. I then did some research and appears this is truly a scam. I received a letter with the counterfeit check.
