I bought a water filter pitcher from Perfect Aqua Purifier for $9.95. One month later they charged me an additional $149.85. I disputed the claim through my credit card company, and the charge was removed. The same thing happened to my dad, but my dad called the company and was told that he had agreed to that extra charge, and that it was meant to cover replacement filters. Neither he nor I received an invoice at the time of purchase stating this charge, and neither of us were informed of this charge when buying the pitcher. I discovered the charge by accident and might have otherwise missed it. I received no additional invoice confirming the extra charge, and I received no additional water filters.
