Same as everyone, now getting a message from the CY Center and Zen Desk

Molly – Aug 04, 2020

I experienced the same thing from these frauds. I purchased a product for $99.99 and they sent me a toy worth $10 for that product. Then after contacting them, they told me that the ware house keeper is a single mother that the child is sick and need the money and I should please accept the product they sent in order to help her. I obviously insisted that I want my money and they said in that case, I will have to send the product back to China which I objected to because of the cost. I then filled a case through pay-pal and it pained me to say pay-pal is complicit in their fraud. After 1 month, pay-pal sent me a message that in order to receive my refund, I will have to send it back to China. And that was their resolution. Please beware and if you can avoid using pay-pal, please do. My piece of advice.

CRIMINAL COMPANY.

Order a luxury recliner camping chair. Six weeks later the chair arrived. The cloth of the chair was covered in mold, the actual frame was missing poles require to erect the chair and there were six holes in the chair.

I have requested 21 times a refund be issues. To this day, I have yet to receive a refund. I have however received colorful (obviously false) replies back from the company such as the following; “ I am very sorry, I ask my boss to give you the full refund. However, due to a mistake in my work, a batch of products was wrong. My boss refused to refund the money and told me that if I was not properly handled, I would be dismissed. I am just a single mother. My children are counting on me to make money and raise. I am very sorry to bring you this unpleasant shopping.”

Or my favorite; “can you just wash the chair and sewn the holes. The poles are easily found in your local walmart centers. Fix the chair, its worth it.” I am not kidding.

This organization should be sued!

The product ordered on June 7, 2020, was described as, “Ultimate Dual Water Slide Sprinkler, Splash Pool, and Two Speed Boards”. The item that arrived on June 27, 2020, was a dual water slide without a splash pool and without two speed boards as described and as seen in the item’s images. I attempted to contact the seller via email, phone, and physical address. The phone number on the website is invalid and the address location is for a local market in Bismarck, MO, no relation to Pepe Center, aka Big Magpie. When I received no response from the seller I used the resolution center at PayPal. PayPal stated the item could be returned for a full refund, and that I was responsible for return shipping fees- the cost to return the item to China is at least $70 and more than the cost of the item. Upon ordering, I did not know the item was going to be shipped from China, there is no mention of it being other than from Missouri on the Pepecenter website. After researching, I discovered multiple websites with different names that have the same design and offer the same products – each of them accepting payment only through PayPal. Another example is: https://www.hancend.online / Wilsotshop. In my opinion, this business knows they are shipping subpar products from what is described on their site and banking that people will not pay the costly return shipping fees to China. PayPal is complicit in supporting this business and by not identifying the fraudulent practices to buyers.

Kelsey – Aug 21, 2020

I,m experiencing the same thing…from a company named WilsotShop. also known as hanced.online1686
I ordered an Ice machine and received a eye lense case, maybe $3.00 at a Dollar store.
PayPal isn’t doing anything about it and ALL the emails, contact phone numbers, etc. are a fraud. I want my money back! I paid $46.98!
Also, the lense case I received came from CHINA …person’s name: Liu Minglong No.7 Chang LiChengQU
WHAT A FRAUD! This company needs to be shut down, put out of business.
Shame on Paypal for not helping. They Love to take your money within seconds! Right.?

Buyers BEWARE! I’m so disappointed and wished I’d checked Pepecenter out before I made my purchase. I bought a raised garden trough for $89.95 on May 31st. Today is July 21st and not only haven’t I received my trough, these people are unreachable. I’ve had no response to my emails, the phone # is a scam, the tracking order is a scam, and I’m trying to get a refund, but I don’t feel hopeful. Very frustrating and I feel bad for customers who were scammed for even more money than I was.

Raquel – Jul 20, 2020

Scam website for sure! Ordered a 15×48 inch pool and received a 10×33 inch one. Tried clicking on my purchase order confirmation, and the page couldn’t be found. Tried reaching out via email and it bounced back. The website definitely didn’t present as a scam – hopefully folks who consider buying from them moving forward read this page and don’t. Worth it to spend more money with a reputable seller than be scammed.

Gabriel – Jul 18, 2020

I never recieved my New updated 2020 15ft x 48in pool with pool cover, ladder, bottom cover for the grass and air pump. They sent me a pool that was very small 8 x 30 and air pump. I have email them 5 times since I have bought the pool on June 15, 2020. They ask me to send the pictures of the pool I received and after that they never responded back.

I am like everyone else that has posted about being scammed. They showed they shipped the 15″ by 48 pool before the order date, ordered it 6/17 and they shipped it 6/11. As soon as I saw this was an Asian seller I emailed the address on the PayPal receipt from there I much have found
4-5 different email addresses associated with this sale. They also provided a tracking number from a different purchase and said it was there number and it was delivered.

I just knew it was to good to be true, I’ve filed a dispute with PayPal in hopes of getting my money back.

Robert – Jul 17, 2020

I also fell for the same scam. I ordered a 15ftx48in easy set up pool the comes with a filter,a ground cloth, a top cover, and a ladder. I also paid 118.99 to have it expedited on june 11 2020. On june 25th I disputed with paypal that I had no recived my item, I sent emails to the shopify address, got a return email from yang with a tracking number and said it was in transit. On july 5th I recived the 5ftx 30in kiddie pool no filter no ground cloth onto cover and no ladder, on july 7th paypal then denied my dispute because bigmagpie showed proof the item had been delivered, so I am now currently disputing my item is significantly not as described with PayPal as the seller has it today to respond to paypal. Pics attached are to show what pepecenter advertised, an email of order confirmed, a paypal receipt from bigmagpie, what I actually recieved, and the small box it came in

Kellie – Jul 16, 2020

As many above ordered a 15×48 with ladder, pump, cover, and ground cloth got a 5×20 kiddie pool. PayPal is on it hopefully they will refund as I use the buyer protection plan. Only good thing if I get the money back my grandneice will have a pool

Olivia – Jul 11, 2020

Similar things as to some thing’s I read, I otdered a 15 by 48 ladder cover’s pmp etc as pictured except when I called the number associated with the address in Bismarck mo I found out that it’s a grocery store so I got to thinking about my pool I ordered and I looked at the shipping label and onit the name of the address was someone named Anna fang or Fong in Brea CA so the number I dialed was 714-343-5762 so that’s the way I found the person at pepecenter and if you are interested in the best way to reach out theres The number, o BTW let’s play ball with them call the scam 0olice on those scammer’s.

Levi – Jul 11, 2020

In a nutshell…ordered 15 ft pool with all the accessories. Got a 5 foot pool with no accessories.

In the picture you will see the 4 email address that are cross referenced in the 15 websites I have found involved in this scam. From Connecticut, to Nebraska to 2 cities in Missouri, to California, innocent businesses have no clue that their address is listed on these websites. I have called all of the numbers. Most of which were unaware that their number was being used for a scam and do not sell swimming pool not are they swimming pool distributers. The others were disconnected. I am sending constant emails to all of the email addresses seen in the photo. I have also contacted the Federal Trade Commission, my bank, and law enforcement. I have also contacted Target as i saw PepeCenter as a sponsored vendor on their website. I encourage all of you to do the same. There has to be someone who is willing to defend the American businesses who are being framed.

Brittany – Jul 02, 2020

I ordered a 12 ft round pool and it took forever to arrive. The phone number is fake and the address is for something called Mike’s Market. We went back to the website and it seemed to have disappeared, but then came back a short while after. When the pool arrived I was surprised that it fit into such a small box. We got ripped off and the pool was only 5 ft. WTF are we supposed to do with a 5 ft pool. Pepecenter is a SCAM!

Miranda – Jun 30, 2020

I also bought a pool from them 15 x 48 with ladder ground cover and ladder. We were so excited to get a pool for my grand son. It came in a very small box. I then tried to call not a legit number. I looked online and found they scammed everyone. PayPal is on it now.
Why do people have to be so viscous.

On June 10th, I ordered a 15×48 in pool, ladder, filter, etc combo. On June 16th I received a pool?. It is 5 ft wide x 38 in deep. There was an air pump (that doesn’t work). That’s it…tried contacting company by phone and email.. totally bogus. Very frustrating, there is little consolation in knowing I’m not alone.

Priscilla –

I ordered a 15foot x 48″ above ground inflatable original easy set pool on May 27, 2020 for $285.99 through PayPal @ pepecenter.com. I also received a receipt from Big Magpie (first red flag). On June 4, 2020 I received an email from pepecenter.com that the order was being shipped. To date, I still have no product. I have attempted to reach the company on several occasions, and like most of you, have received no response. The phone number listed was not a legitimate number. I checked google earth to view the address listed and it’s a grocery store. I am baffled at how these folks can still operate and am concerned that there may be many more just like this one. I am out of money and much chagrined about the experience, but more that that, I don’t want this company to continue scamming people out of their money.

I order what was described as a 15 ft X 48 In pool with ground cover, pool cover, pool, ladder, and filter/pump. But received a small air mattress pump and a baby pool (not as advertised). I did a dispute through my credit card company and paypal and escalated a claim. I’m trying to get my 99.00 back. I read that I should be protected under paypal’s purchase protection policy, but I want to alert other to not purchase from this website. When you order, it says MO, united states, but is rerouted through two different emailds into CHINA and they refuse to cancel your order.

Kelly –

I ordered a 15′ x 48″ easy setup pool it was supposed to come with a ladder, pump ground cover and top cover all for 99.00 dollars ,when it came today it was a tiny pool with a real small pump, the return label to ship it back was addressed to me, not the pepe’s that I bought it from, when I do a search the page doesn’t load, sincerely Diana Davis

Jay –

For real! Totally looked like a legit website. Got a fed ex tracking number which was real. Received my pool about 10 minutes ago and well my first thought was how is a 15 foot pool this small? Because it’s really only 5 feet, no ground cover, pool cover, or filter like the description says. I mean I at least GOT my pool. Just not a $100 pool.

Gloria –

I have
the same problem

Shawn –

I am extremely upset. This scam happened to me with the same characteristics as mentioned. The website seemed legitimate but I let my guard down and ordered without doing my research with unfamiliar websites. I also paid through PayPal. My intuition went off after I received the confirmation with a tracking number. Again, seemed legit except with this confirmation the information was unclear on anticipated delivery and shipping and I couldn’t find a telephone number. It also required me to download an app in order to track my order. I found that unusual because I’ve haven’t needed to do that before when ordering online. Yet, I remained hopeful as our daughter was excited. I ordered Tuesday June 16, 2020. After radio silence for a day, my suspicion increased and I went back to website to find a phone number and guess what…the website was gone, poof…disappeared. I immediately opened a dispute with PayPal and its in progress. We are out $250 and our daughter is disappointed. There has to be stronger penalties for people who get caught scamming like this and capitalizing on COVID-19 and people staying at home!

I spent at least an hour looking at this website, reading reviews, looking for red flags, and yes even looking on the internet for bad reviews on PepeCenter. This was around June 9th, and to my findings, there weren’t any. Now, there are several. I contacted PayPal immediately after my purchase went through, because the charge came through a seller named BIGMAGPIE, with a different website address http://www.supermagpie.com/. I knew this didn’t seem right. I contacted PayPal, then my bank, then Pepecenter, which of course I have not heard back from. I tried their phone number, it was phony. I had gotten a confirmation number, but in order to track it, I would have to download what seemed like a fishy app. When I received my FedEx tracking number, I thought, ok, maybe I’ll get something, and they just lied about the size of the pool. But guess what, the tracking number is invalid when you go through FedEx. Then, PayPal denied my case. I have since sent them ALL the screenshots I had, and shown them that now the website shop is mysteriously gone. I took screenshots of everyone’s complaints on here too, to show that I am not the only one, and I’m not going to take this, and neither should any of you! PayPal should have to stand by their name, especially when I informed them on the 9th that this was a scam, and they should investigate. I hope to see my money again, but I especially hope those of you that spent BIG money see it too. Sorry for the lengthy post, but I never thought I’d fall for a scam. I’ve included screenshots that I went back and took, so if any of you need to use them for PayPal, I’m ok with that!

Theresa –

Happening to me right now! I couldn’t find any bad reviews and even saw a couple really good ones- obviously fake. I ordered on may 28… Spent over $300 and thought was legit bc PayPal. Can’t get a hold of anyone!

Maggie –

I was also scammed and is filling a dispute for above ground pool and the fed ex tracking number is phony

Kurt –

This place is a scam! They have the address to Mike’s Market in Bismarck, Missouri. It’s not a real address nor a real business. I work at Mike’s and I receive calls about this all the time. A lady told me she ordered something and woke up the next morning and her entire bank account was drained! DON’T DO IT!

Carmen –

This website looks legitimate but don’t be fooled they are scammers trying to steal your hard earned money,i ordered a pool for my kids from these guys only to find out the phone number is disconnected and the address the have is for a damn Meat market,do not waste your time you will loose your money,i disputed the charges with my bank and PayPal,and I am waiting to get my money back ,put this website on blast people they are thieves

Lori –

How is your dispute going? I just filed one for my mother.

Cody –

My husband found this site when he searched Google for an above ground pool. The site looked legitimate. I read all the reviews for the product I purchased and none of them seemed phony. I paid $99 for an above ground pool. It’s been very difficult finding a pool lately, and prices have gone way up, so I thought I should jump on the deal. After two days went by and I didn’t receive any confirmation emails from the company, I decided to search the company on Google and I found this website with all these stories similar to mine. I called the number on the website, which does not exist, and the website that is listed as a contact for them on PayPal does not exist. I filed a dispute through PayPal. Hopefully I will get my money back.

Brandon –

I have ordered a pool and paid for expedited shipping spent 118.00 and me and my kids are still waiting we ordered on the 6th. People really should just stay with walmart because this is insane!

Martha –

I was scammed for 285.99 for a above ground pool as well. Someone needs to shut down this “business”. I tried to cancel my order this is what I discovered. The site is 2 months old. The phone number is false. The address in Montana actually belongs to Mikes Groceries. Their website domain is ran in Canada. Their shipment info from China is also false. Now they are advertising above ground pools for $ 99.00, DON’T DO IT !

Pamela –

Ordered a 20 by 20 swimming pool never got an shipping date

Alejandro –

Did you ever receive anything or have to go thru your bank to get money back? I just ordered a d about sick over it now?

Kristy –

My name is Lorraine and I ordered an above ground pool online from PEPECENTER.COM. The website looks legitimate so I placed the order and paid $338.82 which includes expedited shipping. I received a confirmation number via email but I never got a shipping date. The phone number on the site is bogus. I want to file a report and try to recover my money.

This website appeared with others advertising above ground swimming pools for sale. The price appeared legitimate. I received a confirmation email that the order was placed, the payment was deducted from my PayPal account, but I never received an email to indicate that the item shipped. Me too. I’m supposed to send it back to get a refund, but now I don’t know what to do. To top it off I can’t get ahold of anyone at PayPal. Do I send it back or eat the $150?

I was scammed today from what these complaints seem to be saying. Placed order earlier with same email saying the order was received…called number listed..wasn’t a real number and just emailed as well.

Have you had any luck getting your money back with PayPal? I’m in the process of filing a dispute. I was scammed by this website two days ago.
