Received an auto-dialer call Sunday May 22 around 6:30pm. It was Penn Credit telling me I owed Vonage in excess of $100. I have never had an account with Vonage so it appears to be collection scam. This was their first call but they guaranteed it would not be their last. I have worked hard to get my credit on track and keep it that way. I followed up the call by searching out information on the internet and came across many warnings that Penn Credit uses the pretense of settling debt to phish for personal information. The warnings also said they are extremely aggressive in their tactics and approach.
