Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief
I received pre-approved debt consolidation offer with following terms. Amount=$45,500, Interest=3.67%, Monthly Payment=$191, Savings=$590/month. According to my calculations the loan would need to be extended for 100 years to meet the monthly payment. I called them and the "Financial Consultant" requested my Birth Day date. I asked him how they could possibly come up with those terms. He hemmed and hawed and said that a financial officer would call back. The call never came.
