Type of a scam Employment
I came across becoming a mystery shopper.
I received an email from David Bodin, MBA from Pebble Survey, a mystery shopper company. Enclosed in my packet was instructions to purchase (2) Apple Cards in the amount of $1100 each, Survey, and a Check in the amount of $2500.. I was to text when I received my packet, and text when I deposited the Check to lift the restrictions on check. Visit a local Apple Store and make purchase. Then I was to Send a text with pictures of the receipt, Apple Cards with the scratch off to reveal the numbers. Then complete survey and mail cards and survey back to him. If I completed in 48 hrs I would receive a $200 Bonus on next packet.
I do not know for sure this is a scam. I am shredding my due to all the RED FLAGS being there.
