Turned on computer . Loud alarm sounded, warning MSN , do not turn off computer , virus will take over computer, call Microsoft now! your computer is infected . Called #on screen . Tech said they will have to take over computer .Will scan files and remove virus. $145.00 & $85 tech fee. Transferred to level 7 tech to fix . then transferred to sign up for IP address protection co.to sign up for service to protect computer 2 yr. protection plan $499.00 plus $99.00 Tech fee . $828.00 total scam . Went to web site ,said if this is your site ,log on . They had given me a security code to enter UR051B .I did not enter it . It said if this is not your site we’ll see you later. Got my Consumer Reports magazine today on computer scams . Then I realized I’d been Scammed . This happened about ten days ago .
